In the presence of the Deputy Governor of Marib, Dr. Abdu Rabbo Miftah, and the Director General of the Social Affairs and Labor Office, Abdulhakim Al-Qaisi, HUMAN ACCESS in Marib city launched the fifth annual bazaar to display products of beneficiaries of vocational rehabilitation and economic empowerment during the current year, as part of the protection and livelihood support project "Safe Space for Women and Girls", funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The launching of the fifth annual bazaar is part of the activities of the 16-day campaign of activism to combat violence against women and girls.
The exhibition included various corners, such as clothing and embroidery, sweets/ pastries, popular foods, perfumes and incense, handicrafts and crafts, mobile phone maintenance, engraving, and henna.
The bazaar is designed to display the beneficiaries' products and creativity, help them develop their capabilities and talents, and create marketing opportunities for their products.
During the opening of the bazaar, Undersecretary Abdu Rabbo praised the diverse products he saw from the beneficiary women, which reflected creativity in designs, mastery in performance, and quality in work, stressing the need to boost the capabilities of the most vulnerable and needy women through training, rehabilitation, and empowerment to help them enter the labor market and transform them into productive, self-reliant families.
