Awareness sessions and focus discussion in preparation for launching private economic enterprises
With funding from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), HUMAN ACCESS in the governorate of Marib implemented a number of activities within the protection and livelihood support project "Safe space for women and girls" to enable Yemeni women to obtain sources of income and improve their economic situation.
An analysis of the market was conducted by a focus group discussion in Al-Rawda area and Al-Mil camps with the goal of identifying the professional preparations and tendencies of applicants for vocational training in the safe space, in order to ensure the successful leadership of their own projects for the second quarter of this year.
In Al-Matar area, the safe space organized awareness sessions for a number of women and girls who visited the space about the forms of landmines and the need to be careful with strange objects.
The awareness also included introducing the services and activities of the safe space in order to support and empower women and push them forward.
