HUMAN ACCESS in Aden Governorate organized two awareness-raising activities within the 16 Days of Activism campaign to combat gender-based violence and in conjunction with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which falls on December 3 of each year, to educate the public regarding important issues.
The first activity is to promote awareness about drug addiction, its psychological effects, and treatment methods, targeting male and female teachers in Al-Basateen area’s schools.
Several families of people with special needs, community-based committees, and partners took part in the second activity, which discussed the advantage of early intervention and integrating people with special needs into society.
