A purposeful event was held at Wadi Marib's safe space for women and girls on the occasion of World Day against Child Labor. It involved a variety of recreational, cultural, and awareness-raising activities that drew joy to the participating children as part of HUMAN ACCESS's Protection and Livelihood Support Project in Marib Governorate, which is funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
On June 12, the World Day Against Child Labor is celebrated to raise awareness about childhood-related issues and urge more investment in comprehensive social protection systems in order to make progress in ending child labor, a dangerous phenomenon that robs children of their childhoods and rights.
This phenomenon has increased in recent years in countries experiencing armed conflicts, including Yemen.
