The winter clothing project for the year 2022-2023 in the governorates of Marib and Taiz has been completed by HUMAN ACCESS, which includes winter clothing for 2,418 displaced people and a winter blanket for 403 displaced families.
The Kuwaiti International Islamic Charity Organization (IICO) funded the project to help vulnerable displaced families living in tents or temporary shelters cope with harsh winter weather conditions.
Among the winter response packages distributed were 806 blankets, 403 jackets for men, 403 jackets for women, 806 wool suits for boys and 806 wool suits for girls, to mitigate and treat protection concerns resulting from the winter season.
It is particularly devastating for Yemen's poor displaced families to struggle to keep warm during the winter due to deterioration in Yemen's economy.
