HUMAN ACCESS in Shabwah and Marib governorates awarded livelihood grants to 12 women beneficiaries of vocational training. The grants included basic supplies to begin practicing their crafts, as part of the project "Providing Livelihood Services for the Most Vulnerable Women and Girls in Yemen," funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

In the city of Ataq in Shabwah, livelihood grants were given to six women who benefited from vocational training in the fields of sewing and hairdressing. Nasser Lashdaf, Deputy Director of the Associations and Unions Department at the Social Affairs and Labor Office in the governorate, attended the distribution. He emphasized the importance of these grants in enabling the women beneficiaries to establish their own businesses and live with dignity.

In Al-Rawdah area and Al-Mil camps for IDPs in Marib, livelihood grants were awarded to six women who benefited from vocational training in sewing and confectionery/ pastries. This grant aims to expand economic opportunities for women and enable them to find work, improve the living conditions of families and the most vulnerable groups, and alleviate human suffering.
