HUMAN ACCESS in Al-Mahra Governorate, with funding from United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), carried out a workshop on the knowledge, attitudes and practices (KAP) study outcomes. This falls in the context of gender-based violence, with the participation of 20 individuals from the health sector, endowments and civil society organizations.
The goal of the workshop is to raise societal awareness about the harms of female circumcision, and the psychological, physical, and social damages resulting from it.
