HUMAN ACCESS branch in Al-Mahra Governorate, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), within the framework of the Protection and Livelihoods Support Project for Women and Girls, held a periodic meeting of the community protection network with the HUMAN ACCESS team of the safe space for women and girls in Al-Ghaydah.
The attendees discussed the concept of divorce: its causes, its effects on family members and the community together, and the proposed solutions to limit its spread.
The branch also organized a periodic meeting of the members of the peer network, where the attendees discussed a number of issues related to the awareness-raising process on issues of gender-based violence. The meeting also discussed a planning mechanism for the mobilization and advocacy sessions that will be held during the second quarter of the current year.
