HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate implemented a number of activities within the context of the Protection and Livelihood Support Project "Safe Space for Women and Girls", funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

The project aims to create sustainable job opportunities for the beneficiaries and qualify them for professional occupations that will enable them to launch their own projects.

In this regard, in Al-Wadi district, a life and marketing skills course for trainees for the fourth quarter of this year has been concluded in the fields of sewing and making sweets and pastries.

The training covered various topics aimed at enhancing skills in project management and development, preparing plans and programs, and product marketing skills.

As part of the programs and activities aimed at developing the life skills, marketing and financial skills of women beneficiaries of the Livelihoods and Economic Empowerment Program, a life skills course was held in Al Mujamma neighborhood for 28 women beneficiaries of two training courses held in hairdressing and tailoring.

With the participation of 15 women, the second training week on making sweets and pastries continues in Al Jufaina camp to build the capacity of trainees in this field due to the increasing demand for these products in the local markets. Training also includes preparing famous types of foods of high quality that qualifies for competition in the labor market.

In Al-Rawdha area - Al-Mail camps, the safe space concluded a vocational training and economic empowerment program for the third quarter of this year, with a training course targeting a number of women and girls in the field of confectionery. This training came days after the implementation of a training course in the field of sewing for a number of female beneficiaries.
