With the support and funding of United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate implemented a wide range of activities to promote and protect women's rights in Yemen and to raise awareness of the extent of women's problems.
In Al-Matar area, the safe space held a meeting of the working group to review the pros and cons of work during the past year and review the work plan for the current year 2023, which includes a range of important interventions to support women and girls. The meeting urged the working team to make more efforts to improve performance.
In Al-Rawda area and Al-Mil camps, the safe space resumed its activities and programs under the umbrella of continuous support for women's rights as part of human rights, amidst a large number of women and girls wishing to benefit from the space's services in order to enhance their capabilities, acquire the necessary skills, and achieve all their potential.
In Al Jufainah, the safe space provided group psychological support to 12 women about the pressures of daily life and how to adapt and deal with them.
The space also organized two awareness sessions, the first in the presence of 10 visitors, entitled "Women and Their Human Rights", while the second focused on the dangers of gender-based violence, targeting 22 women to raise the beneficiaries' awareness of the importance of their rights.
