HUMAN ACCESS in Hadhramaut Governorate, with funding from Al-Sayer Charity Foundation in the State of Kuwait, conducted a mobile clinic in Hajar district as part of the mobile medical clinics program for the year 2022-2023.
The purpose of the program is to examine and treat internal diseases and children by specialized medical staff as well as to disperse free medicines for the most vulnerable people.
Abdullah Bahindi, Director of the Health Office in Hajar district, welcomed the program, which provides specializations not available in the remote district with more than 8,000 residents.
He also thanked HUMAN ACCESS and Al-Sayer Charity Foundation for this vital support in light of the increasing needs of vulnerable groups for healthcare, including children.
The mobile medical clinics are a quick solution for the growing number of people severely affected by the ongoing conflict in Yemen.
Aside from providing life-saving health services, these clinics also help restore access to primary health care services and expand health coverage for people who cannot afford remote hospitals.
