Under the Reproductive Health Services Project, the Baby Incubators Unit was opened up in Al-Misrakh Public Hospital
HUMAN ACCESS has opened up the “Neonatal and Premature Baby Incubator Unit” at Al-Misrakh Public Hospital in Taiz Governorate.
During the opening, Dr. Elan Abdulhaq, Deputy Governor for Health Affairs, commended the humanitarian efforts exerted by the HUMAN ACCESS under the “UNFPA-funded Reproductive Health Services Project”. She particularly expressed her thanks and appreciation for the donor as well as the implementing Org. for supporting the government’s efforts in carrying out health projects in Taiz governorate.
For his part, Dr. Weqad Al-Qurashi, Coordinator of the Reproductive Health Services Project, asserted that the said Project continues rendering its reproductive health services, which is clearly demonstrated through opening the Operations and Labs Units, providing medicines and medical supplies to Al-Misrakh Hospital, supporting the medical staff with incentives, furnishing and renovating the Obstetric Emergency unit, Operations Unit, and the Lab Unit. This is in addition to opening the Neonatal and Premature Baby Incubator, which will receive newborns, assist in alleviating the suffering of people, and spare them traveling costs to the city.
Further, Mr. Al-Qurashi emphasized the importance of the integrated role of both the civil society and the local authorities, in enhancing and scaling up the health services provided to the population in Taiz governorate.
