A UN delegation reviewed the field operations of HUMAN ACCESS Mobile GBV Protection Outreach Teams at the Al-Firdous IDP camp in Aden Governorate.

The UN delegation included Alexia Augier, GBV Programme Specialist at UNFPA Yemen, and Dr. Arwa Shaker, Reproductive Health Coordinator.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on interventions aimed at enhancing women’s and girls’ access to essential protection services—including mental support, legal counseling, and reproductive health awareness. These efforts fall within the project for "Providing Livelihood Services to the Most Vulnerable Women and Girls in Yemen," implemented by HUMAN ACCESS and funded by UNFPA.

The UN delegation commended the mobile protection outreach teams for their efforts and underscored the vital importance of these interventions in meeting the essential needs of women and girls and improving their access to services under current conditions.
