HUMAN ACCESS organized awareness events across Aden and Shabwa Governorates to mark "Pink October," the international breast cancer awareness month. The activities were delivered as part of the UNFPA-funded project, "Providing Livelihood Services to the Most Vulnerable Women and Girls in Yemen."
In Aden’s Dar Sad District, an interactive session brought together 10 women to promote health literacy around breast cancer and dispel common myths, fostering better prevention for this disease.
Meanwhile, in Ataq, Shabwa, a safe space hosted an awareness session titled "Awareness is Protection, Early Detection is Life." Reaching 20 women and girls, the session covered self-examination techniques, the value of early screening, and preventive measures.
