With funding from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), HUMAN ACCESS in Aden Governorate implemented the first refresher awareness session for the current year 2024 on the program to support mother-to-mother awareness groups as part of the refugee health project in Al-Basateen and Kharaz areas in Aden and Lahj Governorates.
Ten volunteer mothers from refugee women and the host community in Al-Basateen attended the session to learn about the program's activities to educate refugee women and the host community about the importance of breastfeeding for the health of mothers and children.
A health message guide related to breastfeeding was provided to the volunteers, along with cognitive stimulation of breastfeeding.
