With support from the Human Terre organization, HUMAN ACCESS implemented Ramadan charity projects with a mission to improve the lives of the most vulnerable groups and help them meet some of their nutritional needs during Ramadan 1444 AH - 2023.
Additionally, the projects contribute to strengthening beneficiaries' ability to confront crises amidst difficult living and economic conditions in Yemen due to the conflict.
The implemented Ramadan charity projects included the distribution of food baskets consisting of rice, sugar, cooking oil ,dates and legumes to 468 poor, displaced and refugee families in the governorates of Hadhramaut, Marib and the State of Djibouti. The projects also included the distribution of cash assistance to 250 needy and affected families in the governorates of Taiz and Hadhramaut and the distribution of Eid clothing for 200 children in Taiz and the displaced in Marib.
