As part of efforts to strengthen reproductive health services and improve the quality of healthcare provided to mothers and newborns, HUMAN ACCESS in Al-Mahra Governorate delivered a new shipment of medicines, medical supplies, intravenous fluids, and hygiene kits to the obstetrics emergency department at Al-Ghaydah Central Hospital. This delivery is part of the Reproductive Health Services Support Project, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
This ongoing medical support aims to mitigate the worsening health risks faced by women and girls in need of life-saving reproductive health services, which are among the most critical humanitarian needs in Yemen.
During the handover, the Al-Ghaydah Hospital administration expressed its appreciation for HUMAN ACCESS's efforts and UNFPA's funding. The hospital administration emphasized the importance of this vital support, which effectively contributes to reducing maternal and neonatal mortality rates and improving family health within an already overburdened health system.
