New Health Support Delivered to the Obstetrics Emergency Department at Al-Ghaydah Hospital
As part of ongoing efforts to support the health sector and improve maternal and child health services, HUMAN ACCESS in Al-Mahra Governorate delivered a new batch of medical supplies and operational needs to the Obstetrics Emergency Department at Al-Ghaydah Central Hospital. This delivery is part of the Reproductive Health Services Support Project, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The delivered supplies included medical equipment and laboratory reagents to ensure accurate and rapid diagnosis, as well as hygiene and sterilization materials to enhance safety and infection control procedures. Additionally, materials for routine maintenance were delivered to ensure the continued operation of medical equipment and vital facilities in the Obstetrics Emergency Department.
During the handover, Mr. Mohsen Balhaf, Director General of Al-Ghaydah Hospital, praised HUMAN ACCESS's efforts and UNFPA's support in strengthening reproductive health services in Al-Mahra. Mr. Balhaf emphasized that these vital supplies arrive at a crucial time to alleviate pressure on the hospital and ensure the continued provision of high-quality, free medical services for mothers and newborns.
