HUMAN ACCESS in Al-Mahrah Governorate delivered medicines and medical supplies to the Maternity and Childhood Department at Al-Ghaydah Central Hospital. This support is part of the recurring support provided by the Reproductive Health Services Support Project, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), to improve maternal and newborn health services in Yemen.
In his remarks during the delivery, Dr. Awad Mubarak, Director General of the Public Health and Population Office in Al-Mahrah, praised the efforts of HUMAN ACCESS and UNFPA's support to enhance reproductive health and maternal and child care services.
Awad stressed the importance of this much-needed medical support, which assists a wide segment of vulnerable families while strengthening the health sector's capacity.
