HUMAN ACCESS in Mukalla, Hadhramaut coast, began to implement the second phase of the Urology Camp project, which was inaugurated at the beginning of last week, with generous funding from the Namaa Charity in the State of Kuwait.

During the camp, a specialized medical team will perform 50 urinary tract surgeries for poor patients tested and checked up at Al-Quweria Hospital in Dowan district, where the camp is taking place, in addition to Al-Dhaliaa health center.

The medical team conducted the necessary check-ups and laboratory tests for 200 patients from the districts of Dowan and Al-Dhaliaa, which are considered remote areas in Hadhramaut.

A visit to the camp was conducted by Dr. Khamis Morei bin Talib, deputy director general of the Health and Population Office on Hadhramaut coast, during which he inspected the progress of the camp's activities. The HUMAN ACCESS project in Hadhramaut has been praised for its humanitarian efforts.

He also extended his thanks and appreciation to the brothers in the State of Kuwait and the Kuwaiti Namaa Charity for their funding of the camp and their continuous support for charitable and humanitarian projects in Yemen.

Morei also affirmed the readiness of the Health Office in Hadhramaut to open the arms of partnership with all civil society organizations to implement their health interventions in the governorate.

According to Saeed Al-Khamer, HUMAN ACCESS's secretary general in Mukalla, the camp came to offer free health services to residents in the targeted areas because of their difficult living conditions. He praised the Namaa Charity, which carries out several projects in the areas of livelihood, health, and education, and continuously supports the people of Hadhramaut in addition to other Yemeni governorates.
