
HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate distributed 240 dignity kits containing essential supplies, especially for women, as part of the project to provide livelihood services to the most vulnerable women and girls in Yemen, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
100 bags were distributed in Al Wadi District, targeting women and girls with special needs, to meet the essential needs of this vulnerable segment, and in the belief that disability rights are human rights. Among the beneficiaries were eight girls from a single family of 11, all of whom suffer from disabilities.
Meanwhile, 140 bags were distributed in Al-Rawda area and Al-Mil IDP camps, according to precise criteria. The distribution targeted new beneficiaries from the most vulnerable groups, including pregnant and breastfeeding women, those suffering from illnesses, the elderly, victims of gender-based violence, and others. The goal was to alleviate the suffering of women and girls living in vulnerable situations and mitigate risks to protect women.
