With funding from the International Islamic Charity Organization (IICO), HUMAN ACCESS in Hadhramaut and Taiz governorates organized a bazaar to display the products of several orphan families benefiting from economic empowerment projects (Kasb Tayyib 2).
Among the fields covered by the project are sewing and embroidery, perfumes, incense, cakes, and sweets, with the goal of highlighting the work of beneficiaries, promoting their creativity, developing their capabilities, and providing marketing opportunities for their products.
In partnership with IICO, HUMAN ACCESS sought to empower 71 orphan families in the governorates of Hadhramaut, Taiz, and Marib in six income-generating projects, namely: the dairy cow, tailoring and embroidery, a tuk-tuk/auto rickshaw transport vehicle, a juice and sandwich buffet, incense and perfume making, and a manufacturing plant for cakes and sweets/pastries.
The goal is to secure a stable and sustainable source of income for the targeted orphans in light of the difficult living conditions experienced by most families in Yemen.
