On the occasion of World Refugee Day, and with funding from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), HUMAN ACCESS in Aden Governorate held a discussion session at Al-Basateen Charitable Medical Center. The session targeted mothers of children with disabilities and was attended by a number of medical professionals.

The discussion addressed the importance of psychological support in overcoming the challenges faced by children with disabilities and their mothers, the importance of continuing physical therapy for children, the necessity of reporting any violations against them, and other issues aimed at promoting the rights of persons with disabilities and improving their lives.

With support from UNHCR, HUMAN ACCESS manages Al-Basateen Charitable Medical Center in Dar Saad District as part of the Refugee Health Project, implemented in Al-Basateen and Kharaz areas of Aden and Lahj Governorates. A key objective of the project is to enhance access to basic healthcare for the most vulnerable refugees.
