As an important part of the humanitarian response efforts in Yemen, HUMAN ACCESS in Al-Mahra governorate delivered medicines, laboratory solutions, and medical supplies to the obstetric emergency department at Al-Ghaydah Central Hospital within the context of the ongoing support provided by the Reproductive Health Services Support Project, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
In his remarks at the delivery, Al-Mahra's Director General of Public Health and Population Office, Dr. Awad Mubarak, praised HUMAN ACCESS and UNFPA for supporting access to reproductive health services and paving the way for lives to be saved.
According to Al-Ghaydah Hospital's Director General, Mohsen Balhaf, this support is crucial in order to meet the growing demands of the population for these life-saving services.
