HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate delivered livelihood grants to six women who benefited from vocational training in sewing and hairdressing in Wadi District. This grant is part of the project "Providing Livelihood Services to the Most Vulnerable Women and Girls in Yemen," funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The delivery ceremony was attended by Ms. Sa'ada Aqar, Chairwoman of the National Women's Committee in Marib. These grants, which include basic supplies for practicing the craft, will help empower the beneficiaries to establish their own businesses, enter the labor market, and improve the living conditions of their families, given the difficult conditions the country is experiencing due to the conflict.
