HUMAN ACCESS in the governorates of Hadhramaut and Al-Mahra organized a number of planned activities within the activities of the protection and livelihood support project "Safe Space for Women and Girls", funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
In this regard, a community awareness campaign was implemented in Bakathir Secondary School for Girls in the city of Seiyun, Wadi Hadhramaut, about violence, its types, effects and methods of prevention.
The purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness of this social scourge, which is one of the most widespread and devastating abuses of human rights that are occurring in the world today.
An additional context involved the completion of two courses in sewing, tailoring, and pastries for 24 women in Al-Mahra, which aimed to equip them with vocational skills that would enable them to become self-sufficient and contribute to the improvement of their families' living standards.
