HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate concluded a training course on safe delivery within the protection and livelihood support project "Safe Space for Women and Girls", funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The course targeted 13 women in Al-Wadi district and included a number of topics related to the pregnant mother and awareness of safe and clean home delivery methods to spare mothers and newborns many of the risks associated with childbirth.
At the closing ceremony, obstetric health kits were distributed to the participants, and ways to use them were learned to ensure the health of the mother and fetus, in addition to distributing awareness brochures in cooperation and coordination with the Public Health and Population Office in the governorate.
