For the current year 2023, HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate has launched a cash assistance delivery program for sponsored orphans by providing the first installment of monthly sponsorship to 1,700 male and female orphans, in an effort to alleviate their suffering and secure some of their basic needs in the face of increasing poverty and unemployment in the country.

At the ceremony held on the occasion, Deputy Governor, Mohammad Al-Mawadi, stressed that it is important to expand community programs that promote cohesion and the principle of solidarity, especially for orphans who have the greatest difficulty overcoming the obstacles they face.

For his part, Director of the Social Affairs and Labor office, Abdulhakim Al-Qaisi, explained that the number of documented orphans in Marib is more than 60,000 male and female orphans who need care and attention in the lack of official institutions that take full care of orphans, thanking HUMAN ACCESS for this important program.
