With the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), HUMAN ACCESS has conducted awareness-raising activities in Marib Governorate as part of the "Safe Space for Women and Girls" project that promotes women's rights, protection and self-esteem as well as encouraging and supporting them to face society’s challenges.

In Al-Jufaina camp, two psychological support sessions were held, the first under the name "Mental Health and its Importance", reaching 12 women based on the importance of mental health as a foundation for physical and mental wellbeing.

However, the second one was a social sensitization session attended by 10 women, entitled "Girl's Education and the Dangers of Deprivation".

In Al-Mujamma area, the safe space participated in a radio interview on Radio Marib FM about the situation of women, the violence practiced against them, and the importance of concerted efforts to reduce this social scourge.

The space carried out community awareness for the safe space's visitors on gender-based violence and its disastrous consequences for everyone.

The safe space in Al-Mujamma also carried out field community awareness for high school students in Al-Tamayuz School about the importance of educating girls as a basic priority and an indispensable step for realizing their rights and achieving their big dreams, in addition to implementing an entertainment activity for first-grade students in the same school.

Furthermore, the safe space for women and girls in Al-Matar conducted two psychological awareness sessions for visitors, the first of which focused on the importance of family planning and raising children.

Women's legal rights, the necessity of obtaining them, and the importance of identification papers were the topics of the second session on legal awareness.
