A number of activities were implemented by HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate within the UNFPA-funded project "Safe Space for Women and Girls", to support women in Yemen, raise their awareness of their needs and capabilities, and create opportunities for vulnerable families to realize their potential and participate in the economic development.
As a result, the safe space in Al-Matar area organized psychological, legal and social awareness sessions for a number of women who visited the safe space, addressing issues related to mental health and women's rights.
On the other hand, the safe space in Al Jufaina carried out an awareness session on women's self-reliance, targeting 20 visitors to the space to motivate them to discover themselves.
In Al-Wadi district, the safe space for women and girls held a meeting with trainees in the field of mobile phone maintenance over the past year, in order to review their workflow and assess the effectiveness of the vocational course in assisting them in improving their livelihoods.
To enhance their employment prospects, the beneficiaries were pleased with the skills they acquired, and wished to pursue another course in programming.
