In partnership with Balad Al-Khair Society, HUMAN ACCESS implemented a project to distribute Ramadan food baskets consisting of flour, rice, sugar, cooking oil, dates and legumes to 55 families from the most vulnerable groups in the city of Mukalla, Hadhramaut Governorate, within the framework of the Ramadan charity projects.
Yemen is suffering from the cumulative impact of protracted conflict and economic turmoil, which has exacerbated people's chronic vulnerabilities and increased needs for humanitarian assistance.
The Ramadan food baskets are therefore an important way to alleviate suffering during the holy month for many people in need.
