HUMAN ACCESS in the city of Al-Ghaydah, Al-Mahra Governorate, and with funding from United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), launched the third bazaar for the products of beneficiaries of economic empowerment projects for the current year 2022, as part of the “Safe Space for Women and Girls” project activities.
The inauguration took place under the auspices of Mohammad Ali Yasser, Governor of Al-Mahra Governorate, and under the supervision of the Social Affairs and Labor office in the governorate, and the presence of Ms. Lubna Saleh Kalshat, director of the women’s development department in the governorate, along with a number of local officials, civil society organizations and social figures.
The bazaar contained the products of the trainees during the year in several fields, including sewing and pastries/ desserts industry.
The bazaar also included entertainment and heritage shows, as well as presentation of success stories in the fields of incense, perfume, and hairdressing.
The purpose of the bazaar is to highlight the trainees' work, introduce their products and creativity, and provide marketing opportunities for their products to launch in the labor market.
