As part of the Ramadan charity projects for the current year 1444 AH - 2023, HUMAN ACCESS delivered Ramadan food baskets consisting of flour, rice, sugar, cooking oil, and legumes to 242 poor families, and provided medical sponsorships to 400 people in the city of Mukalla, Hadhramaut Governorate, in partnership with Mabarrat Al-Sayer Association through Global Charity Association for Development (Tanmeia).
Conflict and economic turmoil have combined to make Yemen's majority of people vulnerable to chronic vulnerabilities, resulting in a greater need for humanitarian aid. Therefore, Ramadan food baskets and medical sponsorships facilitate the relief of suffering among the most vulnerable groups during this holy month.
