Basic Information about the Position
- Position Title: Psychologist

- Contract Duration: 3 months

Overall Purpose of the Position
To provide psychological support to internally displaced persons (IDPs).
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare required plans for psychological support and counseling activities.
- Receive cases in the safe space that require counseling and provide psychological support and initial advice.
- Manage individual and group counseling sessions.
- Work on developing and improving the targeted environment.
- Prepare monthly and periodic reports on psychological support activities.
- Contribute to developing tools and mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating the impact of psychological support.
- Document and report success stories related to psychological support.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses and propose corrective measures.
- Attend regular meetings.
- Participate in any meetings or training sessions as assigned.
- Carry out any activities within the scope of the safe space.
- Respect work ethics and comply with the association’s code of conduct.
- Adhere to working hours set by the safe space manager.
- Perform any other tasks assigned within the scope of the safe space.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same field.
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to use computer and Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to communicate via email.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to innovate, update, and develop.
- Skill in writing success stories.
- Knowledge of humanitarian work and emergency response.
- Excellent command of English.
