A delegation from United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) visited the Safe Space for Women and Girls, which is operated by HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate. The visiting delegation was briefed on a diverse of projects and activities implemented by the Safe Space for Women and Girls in Marib, Al-Mil camps, which is financed by UNFPA.
The delegation also discussed with the safe space officials a mechanism for introducing programs accompanying the safe space, especially livelihoods.
The delegation, in addition, met with several cases that benefited from the project's services and demanded the necessity of expanding the project's options to include the largest number of categories affected by gender-based violence (GBV), expressing its appreciation and admiration for the services offered to the cases that have benefited from GBV services.
The visit assisted materialize the relationship and discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation to boost services offered to the most vulnerable cases targeted by the project.
