The representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Yemen, Dr. Inshirah Ahmed, visited the Shahir Health Center in Ghail Bawazir district, which is part of the project to support reproductive health services.
To restore access to reproductive healthcare services as essential services, HUMAN ACCESS is implementing the project in Hadhramaut Governorate with UNFPA's funding.
The visit was accompanied by Dr. Fayez Bazar, Director of the Ghail Bawazir District Public Health and Population Office, and Dr. Ahlam Bin Buraik, UNFPA’s Reproductive Health Program Coordinator in Mukalla. A briefing was provided to Dr. Inshirah regarding the progress of the project to support reproductive health services in order to meet the growing demand for these life-saving services in the district.
The UN official praised the efforts made to save lives and build a healthier future.
