HUMAN ACCESS carried out ten training programs in the field of obstetric fistula in Hadramout, Al-Mahrah, Taiz, and Lahj governorates, targeting doctors, midwives, and nurses in ten health facilities that benefit from the Reproductive Health Services Support Project funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
A key objective of the training is to upgrade reproductive health personnel's efficiency, ensure that women have the best chance for health and survival, mitigate complications associated with obstetric fistula, and improve the quality of reproductive health services, all part of an overall effort to strengthen Yemen's basic healthcare system.
