HUMAN ACCESS distributed emergency reproductive health kits to 15 targeted health facilities in the governorates of Hadramaut, Al-Mahrah, Taiz, Lahj, and Al Hudaydah. This was part of the Reproductive Health Services Support Project, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), to improve the quality of reproductive health services in Yemen.
The distributed kits contain high-quality medicines and reproductive health supplies during emergencies. The goal is to expand access to quality reproductive health services as part of universal health coverage and primary health care, and reduce the exacerbation of health risks for women and girls in need of essential reproductive health services, especially given the country's weak health system performance.
