Under the auspices of Mohammad Ali Yaser, Governor of Al-Mahra Governorate, HUMAN ACCESS organized a training program on high-risk pregnancy for midwives at Al-Ghaydah Central Hospital.
In the context of the project to support reproductive health services funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Center (KSrelief), this training is intended to improve the level of performance and the quality of services provided.
The Director General of the Health and Population Office in Al-Mahrah, Dr. Awad Mubarak Saad, appreciated the support of HUMAN ACCESS and UNFPA to improve reproductive health services in the governorate, stating that this training is essential for providing trainees with the skills and information they need in order to offer better services to beneficiaries and reduce maternal and newborn deaths.
Meanwhile, the Director of Al Ghaydah Central Hospital, Muhsin Mohammad Balhaf, thanked HUMAN ACCESS and UNFPA for their important and positive role in providing reproductive health services, such as maternal and newborn care and health personnel rehabilitation, all of which contributed to expanding access to reproductive health care and overcoming obstacles.
