In partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), HUMAN ACCESS in Al-Mahra Governorate delivered medicines, medical supplies and hygiene materials to the obstetric emergency department in Al-Ghaydah Central Hospital.

This is part of the continuous support provided by the reproductive health services support project, which includes a wide spectrum of health care, such as maternal and newborn care.

A delivery process was attended by Dr. Murad bin Aqil, KSrelief's medical coordinator, and Al-Ghaydah Hospital director Mohsen Muhammad Balhaf, who confirmed that the medical materials delivered to the obstetric emergency department every quarter cover a large portion of its needs, thanking HUMAN ACCESS and donors for their important support for ensuring beneficiaries receive quality reproductive health services.

It is noteworthy that about 13,000 cases benefit annually from the project to support reproductive health services in Al-Mahrah, which is being implemented for the fourth year in a row to improve reproductive health services in the governorate, given the vital role that these basic services play in people’s safety and the positive impact they have on the lives of families and societies in general.
