HUMAN ACCESS has launched training courses for teachers on nutrition education in schools in Radfan, Dar Saad, and Al-Mansoura districts in Lahj and Aden governorates, as part of the activities of the Social Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) program, and within the context of the malnutrition treatment project funded by the World Food Program (WFP).
A total of 128 male and female teachers will be trained to teach nutrition education in 64 schools within ten days. This will increase community awareness of the importance of nutrition education in schools, as it will lead to children receiving nutritious meals, as proper nutrition is the foundation for children's mental and physical development and their potential for future employment.
