In the presence of the local authority in Al-Shahr, HUMAN ACCESS Mukalla branch inaugurated the Ain Wan water project in Al-Shahr district, using an integrated solar energy system.

During the opening ceremonies, Misabah Al-Bahsani, deputy director general of Al-Shahr district in Hadramout governorate, praised the tangible efforts of HUMAN ACCESS in the humanitarian fields, including operating wells with alternative energy that contribute to saving fuel consumption and the real sustainability of water projects.

Al-Bahsani also appreciated the donor support from the philanthropists for their urgent intervention in this critical circumstance during the month of Ramadan, in which people encounter great difficulty and hardship in obtaining water.

For his part, Eng. Mohammed Al-Hadri, the executive director of HUMAN ACCESS in Mukalla branch, explained that what has been presented in this regard comes within the framework of the environmental sanitation program being implemented by the branch, as the project will contribute to meeting the needs of more than 1,000 residents of the region suffering from water scarcity. Al-Hadri added that during the last period, HUMAN ACCESS has implemented a number of solar water projects.
