Inauguration of Sababir area water project, Al-Dhalea district, with solar energy system
HUMAN ACCESS in Hadhramaut Governorate inaugurated the Sababir water project in Al-Dhalea district with an integrated solar energy system, funded by the Kuwaiti Zakat House. Thabet Bamasdus, director general of Al Dhalea district, praised, during the opening ceremony, the tangible efforts of HUMAN ACCESS in the humanitarian fields, including operating wells with alternative energy, which helps alleviate the suffering of people who find great difficulties in obtaining safe drinking water.
For his part, Engineer Mohammed Al-Hadri, executive director of HUMAN ACCESS in Mukalla, explained that what has been donated in this regard comes within the limits of the environmental sanitation program, which stimulates saving fuel consumption and the real sustainability of water projects.
Al-Hadri indicated that the project consists of installing solar panels, an inverter device, a plunger, bases for solar panels, and requirements for connecting and operating the system.
