In Sayhut district of Al-Mahra Governorate, HUMAN ACCESS delivered medicines, medical supplies, and hygiene materials to Sayhut General Hospital as part of the ongoing support provided by the Reproductive Health Services Support Project, a UNFPA-funded project, to ensure that reproductive healthcare services are available in Yemen as essential services and part of human rights.
During the handover, which was attended by the Director of the Public Health Office in Sayhut District, Saeed Mubarak, the Acting Secretary-General of the Local Council in the district, Abdullah Awad, praised the HUMAN ACCESS efforts and UNFPA’s support to meet the population’s growing needs for these life-saving services.
Awad also emphasized the need for this support to improve access to reproductive health services and save lives.
