As part of the vocational and skills rehabilitation and training program "My handicraft is my safety," HUMAN ACCESS in Hadhramaut Governorate organized a training course in beauty and hairdressing for 25 orphans in Mukalla. This program aims to build the capacities of beneficiaries so they can attain a higher standard of living, be able to survive, and be a part of a stable society.
Orphanhood in Yemen is a double catastrophe. In addition to the catastrophe of losing the head of the family, another catastrophe is the presence of the orphans themselves trapped in the worst humanitarian crisis in the world.
Therefore, HUMAN ACCESS focuses on the orphan segment through various projects, including economic empowerment projects to restore hope to this vulnerable group.
