Integrated solar energy system Installed for doctors’ residence in Kharaz refugee camp
HUMAN ACCESS in Aden governorate has installed an integrated solar energy system consisting of five panels and five batteries with all their requirements for the doctors’ residence in Kharaz Somali refugee camp in Lahj Governorate.
With frequent power outages, maintaining and securing energy is a priority for the doctors living in the residence.
Eight doctors settle in the camp, working to serve the most vulnerable and needy refugees there.
The installation of this alternative energy system will help cover their electricity needs, maintain the continuity of this basic service, and will have a positive impact on improving health services offered to refugees, especially with the onset of summer and rising temperatures.
