With funding from the Turkish Sadakatasi organization, HUMAN ACCESS distributed 500 food baskets throughout Al-Ghaydah, Sayhut, and Al-Masila districts of Al-Mahra Governorate as part of a food security program to alleviate the suffering of the poorest families in light of the rise in food prices and the inability of many people to pay for the basic necessities of life.
As part of the distribution process, Abdullah Awad Baabda, Sayhut district secretary general, praised HUMAN ACCESS interventions and Sadakatasi's support to meet the basic food needs of vulnerable groups, especially given the continuing conflict in the country and the decline in the ability of millions of people to cope with shocks like rising food prices.
