It was held within the framework of the protection and livelihood support project implemented for women and girls in Al Ghaydah District, Al-Mahra Governorate, funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The aim of the meeting is to build capacity and share experiences of network members.
The meeting discussed the evaluation of the previous phase of implementing the project activities and the project plan for the current year. The implementation of community awareness sessions was also discussed to raise the level of societal awareness of women's rights, and the importance of their role in developing the society. The meeting featured a number of integrative proposals.
