Health Ministry official inspects reproductive health services at Ras Al-Arah Hospital
The department of reproductive health at Ras Al-Arah rural hospital in Al-Madaribah and Ras Al-Arah district in Lahj Governorate received Dr. Ishraq Al-Sibai, Assistant Undersecretary for the Population Sector at the Ministry of Public Health & Population.
During the inspection visit, Dr. Al-Sibai was briefed on the progress of reproductive health services provided by HUMAN ACCESS within the limits of the reproductive health services support project, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) as an important part of the humanitarian response efforts.
Dr. Al-Sibai commended the services offered by HUMAN ACCESS to build a healthier future, which have a positive impact on reducing maternal and newborn mortality rates during or after childbirth and meet an important part of the medical needs in the country.
