HUMAN ACCESS has concluded the "Earn Good 5" economic empowerment project for orphan families in Yemen. Funded by the International Islamic Charity Organization, the project aims to provide a stable source of development that guarantees a decent life for orphans, increases their ability to cope with the economic consequences of losing their breadwinner, and makes a significant impact on their lives.
The project targeted 64 families supporting orphans in the governorates of Hadhramaut, Al Mahrah, Shabwa, and Taiz, by training them in managing small projects and empowering them economically in income-generating fields, namely: "sewing, purchasing a snack cart, a clothing stall, watermelon cultivation, perfume and incense production, confectionery and pastry production, a design and printing shop, a barbershop, a dairy cow, and sheep breeding".
